"I recently canceled both my home and auto policies with LaVonne Gorsuch Insurance Agency after one of the most stressful and heartbreaking experiences I’ve ever had with an insurance company.

For nearly a year, I fought to understand why my wind and hail roof claim was denied while my next-door neighbor’s roof — same age, same type of roof, same roofer — was approved. It never made sense, and honestly, it still doesn’t.

I am a senior citizen, single, and I had no one helping me navigate any of this. The stress was overwhelming. Countless phone calls, emails, inspections, photos, reports, and sleepless nights… all while feeling like no one was truly listening.

To be fair, Tiffany Skinner did try to help me in the beginning, and I appreciated her kindness. But at some point, communication changed, and I was left feeling completely alone in the process.

The only direct conversation I ever had with LaVonne Gorsuch herself came after repeatedly insisting that someone speak with me. Her response was simply: “I’m not going to help you.”

That was incredibly discouraging to hear after being a loyal customer for years.

I wasn’t asking for special treatment. I was asking for support, guidance, compassion, and fairness. Instead, I ended up paying for a brand-new roof out of pocket while continuing to battle confusion and frustration over a claim that never felt properly explained.

What made this even more upsetting was receiving an email after canceling my policies asking me to leave a 5-star Google review.

I truly hope no one else has to go through what I went through. Insurance is supposed to give you peace of mind during difficult times. In my experience, this process did the exact opposite."
